
Lin Yang is an assistant professor with the School of Intelligence Science and Technology. Before joining Nanjing University in 2022, he had worked as an associate researcher in the Department of Computer Science at UMass Amherst for more than two years, working with Prof. Don Towsley and Mohammad Hajiesmaili. He got his PhD degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, supervised by Prof. Wing Shing Wong. Prior to that, He received his BEng and Msc degrees in 2012 and 2015, respectively, both from the University of Science and Technology of China. His research interests cover multiple fundamental problems in Machine Learning, Online Optimization and Game Theory, as well as their applications to large-scale computing systems, etc.
