On December 23, 2025, Zhu Zhibang, Deputy Director of the Integrated Planning Institute and Director of the Big Data Center at Huashi Group, Sun Jing, Deputy Director of the Big Data Center, and Bai Hua, Deputy Chief Engineer of the Integrated Planning Institute, visited our school. They were warmly received by Associate Professors Chen Shuo and Zhang Zhenyu, along with Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Ren Yuxiang from the School of Artificial Intelligence at Nanjing University. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on establishing industry-academia-research collaboration. The exchange session was chaired by Chen Shuo.
Chen Shuo, on behalf of the School of Artificial Intelligence, extended a warm welcome to Zhu Zhibang and his delegation. He provided an overview of the school, covering aspects such as disciplinary development, research achievements, talent cultivation, and industry-academia collaboration. He expressed the hope that this exchange would help identify potential entry points for cooperation in applied artificial intelligence research between both sides, deepen mutual engagement, and jointly contribute to the synergistic development of national strategic scientific and technological capabilities.

He provided a brief introduction to Huashi Group, covering aspects such as its development history and business layout. He mentioned that the group is currently undergoing digital transformation and aims to further empower this process through artificial intelligence technology, accelerating the transformation of core technological achievements and their industrial application. He expressed hope that both sides would jointly focus on cutting-edge fields, fully leverage their respective strengths, and work together to advance industry-academia collaboration.
Sun Jing provided a detailed overview of the group's development status, covering aspects such as departmental structure, market distribution, strategic positioning, and policy support. Building on this, she proposed potential directions for future collaboration. Chen Shuo, Zhang Zhenyu, and Ren Yuxiang each introduced their current research focuses and plans for translating research outcomes into applications. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on specific cooperation matters, collectively mapping out a vision for future development.
