A delegation from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia was invited to pay a visit to the School of Artificial Intelligence and Technology at Nanjing University

  On October 24, 2025, to promote international academic exchange and collaboration, our school hosted a delegation from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) led by Professor Rubita Binti Sudirman.



  The exchange activity was joined by scholars from both sides, including Prof. Rubita Binti Sudirman (Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering) and Prof. Muhammad Noorul Anam Mohd-Norddin from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Assoc. Prof. Ardiansyah Bin Syahrom, as well as Ms. Jiang Peiye from the Global Engagement Office of Nanjing University (NJU), Assoc. Prof. Yi Zili from the School of Artificial Intelligence and Technology, and Assoc. Prof. Zhuang Zhe from the School of Integrated Circuits.



  Yi Zili presented on the innovations and developmental achievements of the School of Artificial Intelligence and Technology in cutting-edge fields such as visual computing and multimodal large models.



  The scholars from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) presented their research progress in areas such as biomedical signal processing, biomechanics, and medical device technology. They expressed their anticipation that this visit would further strengthen collaboration between the two institutions across multiple fields. Professor Rubita Binti Sudirman noted that Nanjing University's profound research heritage and international reputation provide a solid foundation for extensive cooperation. She expressed hope that both sides would deepen exchanges and broaden collaborative areas through faculty visits, student exchanges, and joint research initiatives, aiming for mutual development and a win-win outcome.



  Subsequently, the attendees engaged in a multi-faceted discussion on academic exchange and collaboration.
