Recently, at the 4th Vision-based Remote Physiological Signal Sensing Competition held during the prestigious IJCAI 2025 international conference on artificial intelligence, a team consisting of Master's student Zhou Zhiqin and PhD student Wang Songping, under the supervision of Professor Shan Caifeng from our institute, achieved second place.

The competition focused on leveraging multimodal fusion of facial RGB and NIR videos to achieve robust non-contact heart rate monitoring. The team’s paper, titled Multimodal Video-Based Heart Rate Estimation with Temporal Difference Transformer, has also been accepted by the IJCAI 2025 RePSS Challenge Workshop.
